This year, we celebrated World Milk Day in a fitting manner!
The dairy community celebrates World Milk Day every year on 1 June with a nationwide competition for the “Dairy Product of the Year – 2021”. The same was also true this year! This year was the 18th year and 19 dairy companies participated. A total of 73 products were presented, of which 54 products were new.
We nominated our new MLSNI.SI flavoured quark mix range in the "Quark Speciality” category. The results of the competition confirmed that the new MLSNI.SI quark mix strawberry product is the best of the flavoured dessert range and as such it acquired the “Dairy Product of the Year – 2021” award. The dessert was mainly appreciated thanks to its unique recipe and exceptional flavour accompanied by semi-skimmed quark and premium quality jam with large chunks of fruit. We are very pleased to have received the award, because it only ever goes to the tastiest and best quality dairy products.
